The packing

Once the balloon is landed, isn’t it over. Equally as rigging the balloon is the packing.
The next steps will be followed.

first of all, a crew member asks the proprietor the permission to go on the land with the jeep;

after that the pilot pulls the parachute valve operating line …

… at the same moment, a crew member takes the crown line and runs away from the basket, so the air can flow from the balloon;

to get all the air out of the balloon we use a squeezer

OR a crew member walks over the balloon and brings the balloon together in the shape of a long sausage;

once we have this sausage, we bring the crown line together;

the envelope bag will be taken and we put the whole balloon in its bag, the top is at the bottom of the bag;

on the basket the cables will be unbuttoned and kept together. These cables will be put in the envelope bag together with the rest of the balloon fabric;

the envelope bag will be closed by a special knot in the cord;

the pilot’s instruments will be carefully taken away

the fabric around the conducts and cables will be taken away. The cables they keep the burner on the basket, will be unbuttoned;

the burner will be taken off the uprights and will be placed into the burner bag.
The uprights go in the uprights bag;

the cylinders that need to be filled, were taken out of the basket;

the envelope bag will be placed in the trailer;

also the basket will be placed in the trailer;

after the flight we'll have a drink to celebrate the flight

… and a certificate will be given.
